Title: Hush Hush
Author: Becca Fitzpatrick
Publisher:Simon & Schuster
Format: Hardcover pg 391

Summary: For Nora Grey, romance was not part of the plan. She's never been particularly attracted to the boys at her school, no matter how much her best friend, Vee, pushes them at her...until Patch comes along.
With his easy smile and eyes that seem to see inside her, Nora is drawn to him against her better judgment, but after a series of terrifying encounters, Nora's not sure whom to trust. Patch seems to be everywhere she is, and to know more about her than her closest friends. She can't decide whether she should fall into his arms or run and hide. And when she tries to seek some answers, she finds herself near a truth that is far more unsettling than anything Patch makes her feel.

For Nora is right in the middle of an ancient battle between the immortal and those that have fallen - and when it comes to choosing sides, the wrong choice will cost her life. ( Goodreads)

At first I was reluctant to read Hush,Hush especially due to its subject matter. I admit I was completely skeptical about this until I saw some fellow book bloggers tweeting about Patch ( aka The Patch Army). Three months later I decided to review the book ( seesh don't blame me I take a long time to make decisions) and here we are.

I forewarn you be prepared for a total fangirl review or you can skip about two paragraphs down.

Patch is hotness. The End
( just joking!)

Nora is your average I am not popular, good -to-shoes type of girl. She mostly keeps to herself and her only friend Volumptious Vee hangs out with her. The are like best friends that are exact opposites, they like to call themselves twins. Nora is skinny and long while Vee....is the exact opposite. They are both on the school newspaper and best buds.  A new guy in school arrives and he is the bad boy. Oh how I love  bad boys! He knows everything about Nora even down what she is thinking. Now thats downright scary .

Stalker
Nora has a stalker but she can't figure out who it is. Whether its Patch or someone else. She has been apprehensive since her father's "accident". Constantly feeling a presence following her and constantly searching in the shadows for lurkers. She can't trust anyone.

If her suspicions  are right then she is in really deep hot  trouble, the type of that could kill her.
How Could He Be Trouble?

Patch is hot and I love him. I thought I had book crush on Edward Cullen but he takes the cake and eats its so scrumptiously. Through  Becca's words on the pages of Hush Hush , Patch decends on all his glory and you can just feel his charisma emitting from this book. You can feel the attraction between Nora and Patch . You can't just help but fall in love .

I really liked how the background story of angels comes about and how Nora slowly finds out  . I like how Nora is not dependent like some other guy crazed girl we all know and love. I also like how the author portrayed her as  independent but at the same time a rule follower. I just adore how Patch is in the book. I don't know how Beca Fitzpatrick did it but Patch is one hell of book crush.

To sum it all up. I LOVE this book and you should read it. Then fawn over Patch then comeback and tell me about it!

I rate this book:

Hush,Hush is the first book of the Hush Hush series which includes Crescendo and now ( as of today) Silence by Becca Fitzpatrick.
